The Mediterranean’s largest cruise gathering…

Cruise passengers continue to be drawn to the Mediterranean’s diverse, year-round attractions, with 162 ships active in the region during 2010 and growth expected to continue test test test.

Four Mediterranean countries topped the list of most visited cruise destinations in 2010, accounting between them for two thirds of passenger visits in Europe. France, with its €1 billion cruise economy, took fourth position, and enjoys further strong engagement with the industry through its shipbuilding expertise.

The biennial Seatrade Med Cruise Convention returns to France in November 2012, to the country’s leading cruise port – Marseille.
